We all love comic book art, right? Each week we gather up the coolest comic art that will never appear in actual comic books. The reason you won't is because artists often draw sketches for fun or for commissions and post them on their websites, blogs, Tumblrs and Twitter pages. They are too cool to be overlooked.

Ryan Stegman posted a couple Spider-Man pics on his Tumblr. He's thinking of getting prints made. Maybe you could head over and help him decide which one.

Marcio Takara has been busy this week. He's posted a bunch of pre-NYCC commissions sketches on his Tumblr. Some lucky people are getting some great artwork.

Cameron Stewart has been doing some commissions as well. He posted some sketches on his Instagram page this week.

Phil Noto added a couple new pics this week on his Tumblr. Check out his elegant Havok and Polaris along with a Breaking Bad pic.

Daniel HDR is another artist working on pre-NYCC commissions. It's great to see more and more artists doing this. Check out his Tumblr for more information.

Francesco Francavilla posted pics on his Twitter page of sketches he did at Baltimore Comic Con. He also posted another Doctor Who image on his blog.

Gene Gonzales did this nice Vixen piece this week and posted it on his blog. When will we see Vixen in the New 52?

Edit: Wow, I totally forgot/blanked about her being in JUSTICE LEAGUE INTERNATIONAL. Oops.

Brett Booth does a new sketch each week and posts it on his blog. Check out his Nightwing in action.

Philip Tan didn't post as many sketches on his Facebook this week. It's always great to see his take on the characters.

Michael Walsh posted a couple sketches on his Tumblr this week. Check out his DARK KNIGHT STRIKES AGAIN Wonder Woman and a Typhoid Mary sketch he did for "Sketch Request Mondays."

Agnes Garbowska posted a few great pieces this week on her Tumblr. If these don't bring a smile to your face, I don't know what will.

Robert Atkins posted a couple sketches this week. He also posted some colored versions on his blog. I'm not sure if these pieces are brand new but they're worth looking at for sure.

Mike McKone posted a nice classic Lion-O on his TwitPic page. Hooooo!

It's great to see so many takes on Carol Danvers new costume. Here's Todd Nauck's version posted on his Tumblr.

Peter Nguyen is also headed to NYCC and doing some pre-NYCC commissions. Check out his Tumblr to find out if you can arrange one yourself.

Chris Giarrusso did a cover drawing of Superman Vs. Spider-Man. Head over to his site to see if it's still available to buy. He also started a "Sketch Cover Sunday" feature and did Peter Parker/Spider-Man.

Paolo Rivera is taking some limited pre-NYCC commissions. You can find his contact info on his blog if you plan on going and want a commission.

Joel Gomez posted a commission on his Tumblr of Bat-Batman. Or should we say, Batman with a Bat?

Here's a 'warm up paint sketch' Mitch Breitweiser posted on his site. Amazing that this is just a warm up.

Mahmud Asrar is continuing to post sketches on his Instagram. Check these out.

Dustin Nguyen

If you saw the Live Show yesterday, you know Brian Buccellato was in the office. Here's the sketch he did while doing the interview. He'll be at Comikaze Saturday and Sunday. Check out his site for more info.

That's it for this week. We'll have more art coming in the next installment.
