As much as we'd love to, most of us simply don't have the extra cash to afford picking up every single comic that catches our eye. Because of that, every Monday we here at Comic Vine review this week's new releases and narrow it down to the options that we believe will be quite awesome and worthy of your attention. Naturally, it isn't an easy chore, so expect quite a few in the honorable mentions, too.

BATMAN AND RED ROBIN #19
When DC said Red Robin would come to Batman's aid in his time of need, it seemed safe to assume said character was Tim Drake. Well, we were dead wrong with that assumption. It turns out writer Peter Tomasi is introducing a New 52 version of a very famous alternate earth Robin... Carrie Kelly! That's right, Frank Miller's version of Robin from the classic THE DARK KNIGHT RETURNS will now step into the main DC universe. In case you're wondering, Tomasi has stated he'll have the character stay close to Miller's version, too.

HAWKEYE #9
At this point you either love Matt Fraction'sHAWKEYE and think it's the most amazing thing since chocolate or you're part of the select few who just don't appreciate it. I'm not saying there's something wrong with you if you're part of the latter, but yeah, you should probably see a doctor and get that checked out. Fraction's lovable and sharp script is once again beautifully brought to life by David Aja and Matt Hollingsworth's superb and vibrant artwork. Plus, we'll see the return of tracksuit bros and finally get to see how "serious" the relationship between Clint and Spider-Woman truly is.

SAGA #12
Writer Brian K.Vaughan's sci-fi tale is consistently deemed the best book out there by CV staffer Mat 'Inferiorego' Elfring and pretty much anyone and everyone else reading it. After the last chapter was so exceptionally brilliant, anticipation is at an all-time high for the next issue. Bring it on, Mr. Vaughan.

STAR WARS #4
It's simple: if you love the original trilogy (and who honestly doesn't?), you need to be reading this series. Sure, it's easy to make a story take place during that era, but that doesn't mean the tale feels legitimate. Brian Wood's script oozes the classic films' vibe and feels like they're moments stripped right outta the classic films. If that's not high praise, I don't know what is.

THE WALKING DEAD #109
Do I really need to provide reasons for this one? I mean, really? It's all of the usual goodness brought to us by writer Robert Kirkman and artists Charlie Adlard& Cliff Rathburn. Now, though, there's the potential for Shiva (a pet tiger) to rip apart the undead. Yeah, sounds good, doesn't it? Potential tiger mauling aside, this issue will also introduce a new character as Maggie continues to mourn Glenn. If you're a fan of the show and have yet to dive into the comic, now would be a good time. Though, we all of course recommend reading from the beginning.
