Yesterday Marvel announced their "next big thing." Let's just say, there's going to be a lot of anger issues here. The next arc in THE INCREDIBLE HULK will be called "Stay Angry" and feature the Punisher.

Jason Aaron will be joined by his PUNISHERMAX artist, Steve Dillon. The action begins in INCREDIBLE HULK #8.

Jason Aaron said the following:

Hulk is a character like Wolverine where I can mix it up in terms of tone. It swings from being pretty dark to more crazy and outrageous. I really like going from one extreme to the other, often within the same story. It's easy to do that with Hulk and that will continue.

"Stay Angry" flows out of the end of Hulk vs Banner, which has a big, shock ending that changes Hulk's status quo and dynamic again. All I can really say is this is a five-issue story with each issue relatively self-contained for the most part, done by a different artist and in a different location. Hulk is bouncing around the world trying to figure out what's going on and who's beyond it, and he must stay angry.

Getting Steve Dillon right off PunisherMAX onto Incredible Hulk is the craziest gift in years. His story is set in Mexico and guest stars The Punisher.

Wolverine, Kraven the Hunter and some new characters will show up across "Stay Crazy." There will be Atlantean mobsters, Russian super soldiers and lots of Big Foots.

Apparently Hulk's new thing after "Hulk vs. Banner" will be he has to stay angry. This arc will be in issues #8-12. Steve Dillon will deal with Hulk in Mexico meeting up with Hulk. Other parts will feature different artists that Aaron worked with before. Hulk will be going all over the world and Aaron mentioned there will be a couple places we haven't seen before.

It all begins in May.
